welke artiesten? welke fotografen? zal die er zijn? zou de jam ook die kant op gaan, of die kant? dit gaat er door me heen als ik over het duinpad richting strandpaviljoen zuid loop. bij binnenkomst zijn gordon meuleman, fotograaf, en sophia den breems de eerste die ik tegen kom. lekker bij staan kletsen over de kunstinstallatie die zij hebben neergezet om werk van trob bies , gordon meuleman , melle de boer en jordie rovers via een bod aan de man/vrouw te brengen. startbod is 5 euro! nou dat is niks voor werken als deze die hier hangen. even een drankje erbij en mijn hoofd leeg maken voor alle info die vanavond in mijn hoofd wordt ontvangen. net buiten de strandtent is er een podium op het strand geplaatst waar ik op ga zitten en alvast bedenk om op te gaan staan als er bij het kleine podium optredens zijn. de soundchecks zijn bezig en op het strand zittend, ga ik al in de genietfactor. hier en daar zie ik wat bekenden, groet en klets wat, ga op een stil plekje zitten en... ja, ik ben klaar voor jam de la crème 2016... continue reading "laatste jam de la crème festival 2016 bijna niet te stoppen" posted on june 18, 2016 july 5, 2016 bathshoot on location sometimes you have to try something. for a long time i was thinking about doing a bathshoot with wite water. a few weeks ago @ a bodypaint day i met nina. after talking about some shootsidea's she was in for the idea of doing a bathshoot. bought some mikpowder mixed it in the tub and here is the result... posted on june 13, 2016 june 21, 2016 the bruceband @ ‘t paard: meer dan 3 uur een volle zaal op z’n kop the bruceband , de supertribute van the boss, bruce springsteen, zet op 13 juni de kleine zaal van 't paard helemaal op z'n kop. een show van meer dan 3 uur, rock, passie en zweet, de ideale opwarmcombinatie voor het concert dat op 14 juni op het malieveld door bruce springsteen en the e-street band wordt gegeven. the bruceband in 't paard? ja... zeker!!! op weg naar het concert van the bruceband in 't haagse paard schrijf ik een stuk om mijn best te doen om de kaartverkoop voor deze giganten te boosten. om me heen en op facebook zie ik commentaar van: 'nou, ik ga al naar bruce en dat is the real deal!'. nou dat klopt ook helemaal the boss is the boss. maar the bruceband is the bruceband en zij hebben de laatste 10 jaar hun bruce-strepen meer dan verdiend. op vele grote festivals en zalen hebben zij hun kunsten laten zien en horen. de opkomst is daar dan ook naar... de zaal is vol, megavol. de laatste tijd zijn de mannen even niet op mijn pad geweest aangezien ze vaak ver buiten de haagse regio spelen. maar vandaag is de dag dat de hofstad aan de beurt is. het podium van 't paard wordt onder handen genomen, er wordt gerockt op de songs van springsteen door the bruceband. 3 uur non stop rock till you drop: the bruceband rocks met een setlist van 34 stuks, waar natuurlijk ze net als bij springsteen lekker van afwijken, zie ik dat we voor een volle set van minimaal 3 uur zijn gekomen. geen voorprogramma zoals bij bruce morgen, een avond puur en alleen the bruceband! met een akoestische start van 'thunder road' is de stemming gezet. het publiek zat vanaf de eerste seconde vol in en laat dit ook niet meer gaan tot de laatste song gespeeld is. bruce springsteen doet nu een wereldtour met zijn 'the river tour 2016' wat the bruceband vanavond ook vertolkt. niet alleen songs van the river komen voorbij deze avond, ook nummers van albums als 'the ghost of tom joad', 'the rising' en 'tunnel of love' worden gespeeld. het maakt niet uit wat er wordt ingezet, alle aanwezigen/fans zingen, dansen en klappen mee. de swing, de rock, de vibe, alles klopt. de de huidige formatie, met violist nico dezaire op viool, is het een complete verassing hoe dit allemaal samen gaat komen. nou daar hoef ik maar een seconde over na te denken als nico het podium op komt en tussen de andere 7 muziekmeesters gaat staan. zijn viool blend op een aantal nummers perfect tussen de strakke beats van michael van werven, de jumpend groovende bassnotes van richard oude vrielink, de verschillende out of your mind blowende sax-partijen van dr. k (die ook nog mandoline, shaker, gitaar en veel meer voor en in zijn handen heeft), de pianopartijen van de man zonder muziek voor zich en alles zo uit zijn vingers laat vloeien frederik hamster, de elektrische keys van marcel wensink die zijn 2 synths een extra laag leven in de songs pomt, de solerende en alle songs met gitaar-ondersteunende chris lelieveld en natuurlijk de stem en gitaarspel van the boss of the bruceband, robert philipi. alles klopt en dat is te merken. iedereen gaat uit zijn dak en ik heb het al vaker gezegd over optredens in 't paard.... het dak gaat eraf... en niet zomaar. ik kan de sterrenhemel zien en in de sterren staat geschreven.... er wordt gedanst met- en door de fans, op het podium, achter het podium... los .... genieten... woorden van iedereen die ik na het optreden sprak: super, waanzinnig, wat een vibe, wat een energie... the bruceband was here....... and we're here to stay..... nooit meer naar huis was mijn idee, helaas toch een einde aan de avond... een magische avond/nacht die een perfecte intro is naar 14 juni... bruce springsteen op het malieveld, wat ook van begin tot eind een magische dag was. posted on may 9, 2016 may 9, 2016 help setting up kimberley windsant her website today kimberley windsant was here. she now has her own website and i helped her start it. the site is still under construction but content is comming. i made a temporary logo for her too. a photoshoot and much more to come...! posted on may 7, 2016 may 8, 2016 ibis harbour sessions sambayá edition once... there was a photographer who met once upon a tale and now three shows later .... the second harbour sessions is a fact.... amazing artist, natural... real! sambayá with extraordinary guitarist miguel rubio and magician on the bass, rafael morales started the first set outside of the hotel. great weather and this kind of spanish music ... they belong together. second set was inside with the sessions show band, super jazzy voice of bryony burns, phenomenal sax-tunes by miguel scs bjones who together with the booming guitartricks of albert casán millà are awesome. nice crowd and great service from the staff of ibis. ‪#‎ musicismyreligion‬ ‪#‎ untillthenexttale‬ once upo
